Carlos J. Placer, M.D., and his medical staff wish to extend to you a warm welcome. Dr. Placer is a long time resident of the Orlando and Central Florida area, where he now resides with his wife and three children.

Dr. Placer is committed to the excellence of his practice. He has a keen interest in spine and sports medicine, since he participates in sports himself.

Kimngan Nguyen, MSN, APRN, FNP-C

Kimngan Nguyen, a compassionate and highly skilled Family Nurse Practitioner, is now a part of the Regenetics Health Institute team!

Kimngan brings a deep commitment to patient-centered care with a strong background in both primary and specialized clinical settings, including pediatrics, orthopedics, pulmonology, and telehealth. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida and her BSN from Rasmussen University, where she was recognized multiple times on the Dean’s List.

Before becoming an APRN, Kimngan spent over five years serving as a surgical trauma nurse at Tampa General Hospital, where she also mentored new nurses as a preceptor. Her dedication has earned her multiple Daisy Award nominations for extraordinary nursing.

Kimngan is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a proud member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nursing. Her passion for healing and holistic care makes her a perfect fit for our integrative approach to pain management and wellness.

Outside the clinic, Kimngan is known for her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for every patient she meets.
